"My approach to the arts is the attempt
of an uncompromising, vital expression
that comes from my very being.
My challenge is to keep a balance between
spontaneous action and conscious painting."

Painting, like all the other Arts involves discipline and effort.
One makes this effort to produce something.
But is that what painting and art is about?
All the great artists have expressed something that touches all of us,
something that goes beyond effort and discipline, something that surprises us
and surprises the painter also.

This surprise is what I am looking for what I am painting for.
I have to travel and move through my own process to get there,
to arrive at this explosion within my own heart.

I set up my painting area, I begin relating with the nature around me, with the beauty of the human body with the joy of colours running and dancing into their own magic. Sometimes I am lost completely, sometimes a feeling takes me into one direction or another and sometimes I am just fascinated with the object that is the source of the inspiration.

But more and more I feel this inspiration arises out of me and the painting
is a mirror for my own process and for the mystery that surrounds us.
